Our Engagement Photoshoot

About two months after Marco popped the question in our apartment, we had our engagement photoshoot with the lovely and talented Erica Serrano.

Erica was so amazing at making us feel comfortable, relaxed, and have fun - especially Marco who hates taking photos! We did our shoot at the top of a random building in Uptown Charlotte, and I absolutely love how they turned out.

If you’re recently engaged and are planning on doing engagement photos, I recommend wearing something you feel comfortable and confident in, getting your makeup done by someone like Makeup by Caitlyn Michelle ;) and maybe taking a few sips of something bubbly! We did not think to have any champagne beforehand, but I think that would have been a good idea to relax any photo nerves (if you’re someone who doesn’t love being photographed).
