FAQs

  • Yes, one thousand percent yes. I am extremely comfortable, confident and skilled in working with clients of all ages, all skin types, all skin tones - you name it.

  • If you are getting your makeup done by me, please do not get a facial or wax your brows/face a few days prior to the makeup appointment, otherwise, the makeup application will not go on as it should.

Be sure to come to your appointment with a clean face. Feel free to do whatever skincare you normally do in the morning/prior to applying makeup.

If you are taking a makeup lesson with me, please come with a clean face along with your current makeup products and tools.

  • My in-home studio is located within the Charlotte, NC area. My address is given once you inquire/book with me.

Regular Appointments: take place in-studio or on-location.

Weddings: take place on-location, wherever you plan on getting ready, whether that’s at your home, hotel, or venue.

    Lessons: take place in-studio.

  • The brands of makeup products that I use in my professional kit are all high-end, including Charlotte Tilbury, Patrick Ta, Dior Beauty, YSL Beauty, Hourglass, Makeup By Mario, Armani Beauty, Tom Ford Beauty, NARS, Westman Atelier, Saie, Fenty Beauty, and more.

If you take a makeup lesson with me, I work within your budget (if you are in need of new makeup) whether that’s drugstore, high-end, or somewhere in the middle.

  • Most of my bridal clients book me one year in advance, though you can book any time after that, as long as I am available.

  • While the choice is ultimately up to you, I recommend doing your bridal makeup preview 1 - 3 months before your wedding day. From my experience, this time frame is the sweet spot so that the “big day” isn’t too far away, and you’ve hopefully gotten into a good skincare routine/have a good idea of your complete wedding day vision at this point.
