Miscellaneous Must-Haves in My Pro Makeup Kit: Part 2
We are back with more kit favorites - because the essentials don’t stop!
You all loved Part 1 of this series, so here’s Part 2 of the miscellaneous - but absolutely necessary - products I keep in my pro makeup kit. These are the little things that elevate the client experience, prep the skin beautifully, or make my job easier and more efficient behind the scenes.
Let’s jump in:
Kora Organics Noni Glow Face Oil
This lightweight face oil is a skin-prep dream. It gives the skin a natural, radiant glow without feeling greasy, making it the perfect base for makeup, especially on drier skin types. A little goes a long way and it smells amazing, too.
A cult favorite for a reason. This primer blurs, smooths, and grips makeup beautifully. I reach for it often when I want foundation to glide on and stay put all day - plus, it’s gentle and works on so many skin types.
Velour Beauty Official Lash Adhesive
The glue matters, people! This one is latex-free, long-wearing, and dries down quickly without being overly sticky. It helps lashes stay on through everything - including happy tears and dance floor moments.
If you’ve ever seen my kit in action, you know I’m obsessed with organization, and these palettes are a big reason why. I deposit lipsticks, concealers, creams, you name it, into these sleek, stackable palettes so I can carry more, waste less, and work faster.
These eye gels are such a treat for early mornings or tired eyes. I’ll often apply them to my brides or clients while we do skin prep - they hydrate, depuff, and make the whole experience feel extra luxurious.
An OG for a reason. I use this gentle cleanser to clean up smudges, refresh skin, or remove any lingering residue before starting makeup. It’s non-irritating and perfect even for sensitive skin. I always keep it in my kit (and backups of it too!).
