InStyle Feature: The Best Rhode Products
Pinch me. Seriously — pinch me with some Pocket Blush, because I was recently interviewed by InStyle Magazine about all things Rhode, and I'm still not fully over it.
But okay, here's the thing — and you know I'm always going to keep it real with you — I was NOT an early Rhode adopter. I'll be the first to admit it. For a while, you had to order directly from their website, and between that and all the hype, I just…hadn't pulled the trigger. And then they landed at Sephora, I finally tried them, and I wanted to throw my entire wallet at the display.
So now that I've fully converted (and told InStyle all about it), I figured it was only right to give you my honest breakdown of the Rhode products that have genuinely earned a permanent spot in my pro kit. Let's get into it.
I am truly wowed by this blush. It's super pigmented, glides on like a dream, incredibly creamy, and the shade range? Chef's kiss. I personally use seven shades regularly (yes, seven — no shame), and my top three client shades are Sprinkle, Tan Line, and Sleepy Girl. Oh, and I gifted my mom one last month — she's 61 and absolutely loves it.
This is now a non-negotiable step when I'm prepping my clients' skin before any makeup application. It makes the skin look and feel so glowy and plump — and here's the part that surprises people — it works beautifully even on oily skin. (My own skin is oily, so trust me on that.) You can also mix it directly into your foundation or concealer, and the result is honestly shocking in the best way. Dewy, radiant, and still polished. Do it.
This is the lip product I move from bag to bag because I refuse to be without it. It gives the perfect amount of tint — not too much, not too little — and leaves your lips smooth and nourished no matter what. I use it on myself and on clients, and it gets a compliment every single time.
A finishing mist that actually delivers on the glow factor. I use this to set and refresh — it keeps that healthy, luminous finish locked in without looking overdone. If you want that "I woke up like this… after a great skincare routine" look, this is part of the formula.
The through-line with all of these products? Rhode just gets the assignment when it comes to that healthy, glowy, dewy vibe — and as someone who has been doing makeup for 14 years, I do not say that lightly. These are not just hype products. They perform.
