As a makeup artist, I’ve tested a lot of setting sprays, and these are the SPF-infused formulas I actually recommend to clients (and use in my own routine). They help lock in your look while giving your skin that crucial UV protection - without pilling, white cast, or a greasy finish.
Why Use a Setting Spray with SPF?
We all know sunscreen is a must - but reapplying it over a full face of makeup? Not exactly ideal. That’s where SPF setting sprays come in. These multitasking mists:

Best For: Mature or textured skin

Best For: Humid or outdoor events
Why I Love It: Green tea and aloe soothe the skin, and the formula helps control oil while protecting. I love this one for summer weddings and beach shoots.
How to Use SPF Setting Spray for Best Results
• Start with SPF skincare. These sprays aren’t a replacement.
• Set your makeup first, then mist SPF spray about 6–8 inches from your face.
• Reapply every 2 hours if you’re in the sun - just a few spritzes over your makeup.
• Bonus: Stash one in your bag for mid-day refreshers.
