Steal This Makeup Look: McKenna's Soft Glam Bridal Look

If you've been on my Instagram lately, you may have already seen this one - and based on your response, I had to turn it into a full blog post.

McKenna wanted a soft glam bridal look. Think: blurred, blended, pinky, and completely angelic. The kind of makeup that looks effortless in photos but is doing a lot of quiet, beautiful work underneath. It's the bridal look I want every bride to feel like - soft, luminous, and undeniably herself.

Here's exactly how we built it.

Skin Prep

Good makeup starts before a single product touches the face. For McKenna, we prepped with:

Patchology Eye Gels to depuff and hydrate under the eyes - a non-negotiable on wedding day.

Rhode Glazing Milk to give the skin that dewy, glass-like base that makes foundation melt right in.

Tatcha Kissu Lip Mask to keep the lips soft and hydrated so liner and lipstick apply flawlessly.

Base

For McKenna's base, the goal was skin that looked like skin - just perfected. Blurred, smooth, and luminous without looking heavy or overdone.

Dior Forever Skin Perfect Foundation — a beautiful, skin-perfecting foundation that gives a soft-focus, blurred finish. Perfect for a bridal look where you want to look flawless in every photo without looking like you're wearing a mask.

M.Ph Underpainting Face Palette — I used the contour and bronzer shades in this palette to give both sculpt and warmth.

Kosas Revealer Color Corrector — for any areas needing a little extra love before regular concealer, such as the very inner corner of the under eyes.

Armani Luminous Silk Concealer — the ultimate lightweight concealer for brightening and blending seamlessly into the skin.

Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Finish Setting Powder — this powder is the secret to that blurred, filtered finish. It sets the base without looking powdery and keeps everything in place all day.

YSL Beauty All Hours Hyper Bronzer — a soft, natural warmth to keep the skin from looking flat. For a blurred, angelic look like McKenna's, bronzer is all about adding dimension.

Patrick Ta Blush Duos in Just Enough and She's That Girl — blush is everything in a Sabrina Carpenter-inspired look. I layered both duos for a soft, buildable flush that looks like it's coming from within the skin. So pretty.

Haus Labs Gel-Powder Highlighter in Rose Quartz — the finishing touch on the skin. Rose Quartz is the most perfect, ethereal highlight shade for a bridal look - it catches the light beautifully without being blinding.

Eyes

Soft, blended, and fluttery - exactly what a bridal eye should be.

Makeup By Mario Cream Eyeshadow in Bisque — I used this as the base all over the lid to create a smooth, crease-proof canvas before building shadow on top.

Hourglass Idealist Eyeshadow Palette — incredibly blendable, wearable shades that are perfect for a soft, romantic eye. Nothing too dramatic - just beautifully blended warmth and depth.

Make Up For Ever Artist Color Pencil in Dimensional Dark Brown — brown liner over black for bridal, always. It defines without sharpening, which keeps the look soft and romantic rather than intense.

Ardell Naked False Lashes in #421 — wispy, fluttery, and completely natural-looking. These are one of my favorite lash styles for brides - they add length and flutter without looking like you're wearing falsies.

Maybelline Sky High Mascara — to blend the natural lashes into the falsies for a seamless finish.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz — precise, natural-looking brows that frame the whole look without overpowering it.

Lips

The lip brought everything together - soft, pinky, and just glossy enough.

Make Up For Ever Artist Color Lip Liner in Endless Cacao — a deeper liner underneath adds staying power and gives the lip a little more dimension.

Makeup By Mario Lip Pencil in Johnny — layered on top for a softer, more blended lip line.
