What’s up, friends?! It’s been a little while since I’ve posted here on the blog, but I’m back! The flu has had me knocked out in bed for a few days straight, but I’m finally feeling a *tad* better again. So, here we are – with a new blog post! Tonight, I’m sharing my 6 favorite face masks. Let’s dive in, shall we?
1. Summer Fridays Jet Lag Mask, $48
I’m here to tell you that no, this product is not a gimmick. You’ve seen it plastered all over Instagram, magazines, blogs, reviews, and so much more – for good reason. And it isn’t just a mask. No, no. It’s a multi-use product. More bang for your buck. AKA, just what I like.
First off, it’s clean. All of Summer Fridays’ products are (no BS, like some other brands that claim they are “clean”). But what is it, you’re probably wondering? It’s a one-of-a-kind hydrating cream face mask that delivers rich hydration and a radiant complexion in just one application. What I also love about it (aside from working wonders on my skin), is that it’s a three-in-one wizard. 1) use it as a mask all over your face for 10 minutes, then rinse off…2) use it as an undereye mask that you rinse off or sleep with overnight (hint: I like to layer it on pretty thick under the eyes)…and 3) use it as an everyday moisturizer!
2. Summer Fridays Overtime Mask, $44
Another knockout product from Summer Fridays, the Overtime Mask. It smells like heaven and works magic on your face – especially if you’re broken out and need some extra TLC…and fast! This clarifying mask uses vitamin-packed pumpkin and exfoliating apricot seed powder to polish away dead skin cells for a luminous effect. It’s a great solution for dull and uneven skin, textured skin, large pores, fine lines…all the good stuff.
This mask will brighten your skin up after just one use. I like to keep it on for 10 minutes, then rinse away, and feel 97% better about my life.
3. Summer Fridays R + R Mask, $52
Okay, last Summer Fridays mask, I promise. I figured I would mention all three of them right off the bat since they are my three favorites after all. This one is a brightening mask that also mixes in a bunch of restorative natural oils to help with dark spots, dryness, fine lines, and wrinkles. Vitamin C provides antioxidant benefits, skin brightening properties, and supports natural collagen synthesis; Argan, Safflower, Sesame, Avocado, and Grape Seed Oils provide fatty acids, vitamins, and antioxidants while soothing irritation; and Rose Flower Powder polishes the skin to perfection.
Literally *any* of the Sephora sheet masks, for only $6 might I add, are amazing. When I first started trying sheet masks about five years ago, I was so weirded out by the feeling/texture of them on my face. They feel cold, a bit slime-y, and just sort of weird. BUT, then I got over all of that nonsense and realized they really are a skincare gem. Especially these ones by Sephora Collection. Some of my favorites are Rose (moisturizing), Green Tea (mattifying and anti-blemish), Pearl (perfecting and brightening), and Pineapple (pore perfecting and smoothing). Give ’em a try – you’ll love!
Another clean skincare product, I love this peel-off mask by Boscia. There’s just something about peel-off masks that are so…satisfying. Aside from satisfying your weird urges (maybe I’m just weird), this mask peels out all of the impurities deep from within your skin and leaves you with a brighter, more clarified complexion. Chock-full of powerful antioxidants like activated charcoal and vitamin C, this powerfully detoxifying mask leaves your skin feeling flawlessly fresh and clean while helping to minimize the appearance of pores and enhance radiance.
6. Origins Clear Improvement Active Charcoal Mask, $26
Another charcoal mask, another “Clean at Sephora” product, but different from the Boscia one. The one mentioned above is a peel-off mask, and this one by Origins is one that you wash off. I love them both so much and for different reasons. This is an ultra-purifying mask to deep clean and visibly reduce pores, oiliness, and uneven texture. It also helps flush out environmental toxins, dirt, and debris that can clog pores and cause the skin to look dull. Sign me up!
What about you – what are your favorite face masks? I would love to hear!
