What’s in My Shopping Cart for the Sephora Sale
It’s that time of the year again, folks. Time for Sephora to take all of my money. Let’s be real: they take all of my money anyways. And I willingly let them. But this time of the year is different because there is a sale. This time of the year is when I like to try new products.
Today, I thought I would share with you what’s in my shopping cart for the Sephora sale. First, here is what you need to know about the sale:
November 1 – November 11 = 20% off for Rouge Members
November 7 – November 11 = 15% off for VIB Members
November 7 – November 11 = 10% off for Insider Members
The sale is valid both in-store and online (use code HOLIDAYSAVE)! Alright, now here’s what’s in my cart. Whether or not I actually purchase each of these items is another story. We shall see…
My friend Stephanie, a fellow makeup artist, said that since she started using this toner, she hasn’t had a single zit. Say no more, take my money.
Lipstick: Tarte SEA Elfing & Selfing Quench Lip Rescue Duo, $19
I’m a big fan of Tarte lipsticks, and also a big fan of lip products that go on sheer. Excited to try this duo for a killer price.
Foundation: Charlotte Tilbury Magic Foundation, $44
I’ve been thinking about trying either the Magic Foundation or the Airbrush Flawless Foundation by Charlotte Tilbury, but I plan on going with this one due to the medium coverage. The Airbrush Flawless is full coverage, and I’m more of a medium coverage type of gal (on myself).
Concealer: Charlotte Tilbury Magic Away Concealer, $32
Another CT product on my wishlist to try. I’m always testing new concealers and have not tried this one yet, but have been wanting to. I’ve heard nothing but great things from other makeup artists and reviews in general.
Powder: Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder Glow, $39
The original Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder is the OG of setting powder. It’s been a staple in my makeup kit for years and years. I want to try the Glow version of this to add a bit of, well, glow, to my clients.
Eyelash Curler: Surratt Beauty Relevee Lash Curler, $34
When I took Mario Dedivanovic’s Masterclass in NYC two years ago, he used this eyelash curler and swore by it. I keep forgetting to add it to my kit, but now is the perfect time (with the sale going on).
Hair Brush: Sephora Collection Gloss Dual Boar Bristle Brush, $20
If there is one thing you should know, it is that I am a makeup artist and not a hairstylist! I suck at doing my hair, which is why 99% of the time it is pulled back into a bun or a ponytail. I want to try this brush out to help smooth my frizzy, crazy hair.
Powder Brush: Sephora Collection Classic Must Have Large Powder Brush, $18
Planning on purchasing this brush to go along with the Laura Mercier Glow Powder, mentioned above.
Body Brush: Patrick Ta Body Brush, $35
Last but not least, I want to try this Body Brush by Patrick Ta, to use for chest and shoulder glow on my brides and clients.
I think that’s everything for this season’s Sephora wishlist – am I missing anything?! Will you be shopping the sale? Drop a comment and let me know what you plan on purchasing!
