Favorite Gel and Liquid Highlighters
This summer I have been loving gel and liquid highlighters for a bright and dewy glow. I recently shared a photo to my Instagram feed the other day and figured I would post it on here as well. Here are my seven favorites:
Why I love it: It’s a lightweight, coconut-infused gel highlighter that can be applied to the skin directly or added into foundation or primer for a universally flattering glow. The coconut scent smells amazing and it gives your skin such a pretty glow.
Tarte Radiance Drops – $32
Why I love it: It’s a multitasking elixir with brightening pearls for a healthy-looking glow. I like to mix just one drop of this in with my foundation or CC cream and the skin looks bright and flawless.
Why I love it: It’s a weightless liquid highlighter that imparts an intense glow with lustrous finishes. I have it in shade Perla, which is a beautiful champagne platinum shade that highlights the skin beautifully.
Why I love it: This golden bronze highlighter gives you a natural, sunkissed radiance. Dot and blend the product over your makeup onto your cheek and brow bones for a bronzed glow that complements all skin tones.
MAC Strobe Cream – $34
Why I love it: Super-powered with potent botanicals, it boosts the look of dull, flat, or tired-looking skin with nutritious vitamins and a mega-dose of green tea. It brightens and clarifies the skin with iridescent particles and antioxidants, and adds the softest glow to the skin from sunlight to spotlight. I love it in shade “Goldlite” the best!
Why I love it: This nude-pink, matte-radiance highlighter is perfect on your cheekbones, above and below your browbones, along your temples, down the bridge of your nose, and above your cupid’s bow. I like to use it under complexion products, such as concealer, and also over makeup. It gives just a very subtle hint of luminosity without being shimmery or too over the top.
Why I love it: This champagne glow highlighter gives your skin a soft-focus effect. Its smooth application and luminous sheen switches on the “wow” factor for any complexion. Apply it to cheeks and browbones, then sculpt the complexion with the soft-glow blender to achieve the perfect gleam.
What are some of your favorite highlighters? I would love to hear!
