10 Fun Bachelorette Party Destinations
I’m about to turn 28 years old this year, which means, you guessed it, many of my friends are getting married! A good handful of them have already tied the knot, a few are currently engaged, and luckily, a few are still single with me 🙂 Before it’s time to tie the knot, there is usually a bachelorette party for a pre-celebration!
Anyways, today I thought we could talk about some really fun bachelorette party destinations that are located right here in the US of A! As amazing as it would be to travel to Playa del Carmen or Bimini, that is likely out of many people’s budgets (especially when you factor in the costs of being a bridesmaid: dress, hair, makeup, accessories, shower, hotel, gifts, etc.). I’ve been to 7 out of these 10 destinations and am here to offer up some ideas. Enjoy!
1. Nashville, TN
I’m kicking the list off with Nashville because it’s known as our country’s #1 bachelorette destination. Although I haven’t been there yet, my friends are I are going this July to celebrate one of my best friend’s last hoorah before getting hitched. It’s known as the Las Vegas of the south, hence the phrase, “Nashvegas.”
There are several great hotels to choose from, such as Hilton Nashville Downtown and Omni Nashville, or you could snag a cool Airbnb. I’ve also heard amazing things about the food and drinks in this honky tonk city. Can’t wait to try it out in July!
2. Toronto, ON
My girlfriends and I celebrated a friend’s bachelorette in Toronto last Memorial Day weekend, and it was a blast! We stayed at the Hilton Toronto on Richmond Street West, ate dinner at Copacabana and Terroni, had brunch at O&B Canteen, and had a VIP bachelorette table at Uniun which was a blast.
3. New York, NY
You can never go wrong with a trip to NYC, let alone for a bachelorette party. After all, it’s the city that never sleeps! You can do ANYTHING you want in the Big Apple, whether it’s seeing a Broadway show, going shopping for the latest and greatest fashions, or going out for dinner and drinks at any restaurant/bar of your liking. We did NYC for my friend’s bachelorette back in 2014 and had a blast.
4. Las Vegas, NV
So cliche, but what’s a bachelorette party destination list without Sin City? Vegas is so much fun! I’ve been there four times and would love to go back again someday, hopefully for one of my friend’s future bachelorettes! It’s known for its crazy nightlife, but there are other fun things to do in Vegas as well, such as catching a super cool show or concert.
5. Saratoga, NY
I added Saratoga to the list because it’s where we are going for one of my BFF’s bachelorette’s this spring and I can’t wait! It would also be a great destination to hit up during the summer time, due to its popular track season. There are several different restaurants and bars to try, and the streets are very historic and picturesque.
6. Charleston, SC
Speaking of historic cities, does it get any better than Charleston?! It is truly my favorite city in the United States. Some of my family lives near there (in Mt. Pleasant) and everything about this “old” city is so stinkin’ charming. The people in Charleston are SO NICE it’s absurd. Every single building you pass is beautiful and cute and colorful (just look at this one, above). No matter what street you’re on in Downtown Charleston, you will spot something to do. Grab a latte or a cocktail, explore King Street, try out a meal you’ve never had before. The possibilities are endless.
I’ve been to Chicago three times, and it never disappoints. Although yes, it is a windy city, it’s so much fun. It feels like a smaller big city – not quite as engulfing as NYC. There is so much to do and so much to see. Chicago has so many great concerts and really great nightlife. Check out Studio Paris Nightclub if you are looking to dance with your girls!
Boston is a city I could never get sick of visiting. Some of my family is from Boston, so I grew up going there at least once a year to visit my three cousins. Similar to Charleston, it is very historic and cute, yet still a major city. If you love seafood, you’re in for a treat. Boston has some of the best!
Although I haven’t been to Dallas yet, it is high on my list! I’ve been dying to visit both Dallas and Austin, Texas. I just haven’t found an excuse to get there yet! I’ve heard the W Dallas is a great hotel to stay at while visiting. As far as activities go, take your pick! You can catch a concert, a sports game, grab drinks at any bar or restaurant, go shopping (Dallas is known for its shopping), and so much more.
Last but not least, Sedona is known as an incredibly beautiful, serene, relaxing spot for a bachelorette getaway. Although I haven’t been yet, my best friend visited for a bachelorette weekend a couple years ago and she loved it. Her group rented a beautiful Airbnb and enjoyed a nice spa day.
What destination is on your list for a bachelorette weekend? I would love to hear!
